First Blood (yeah it's the title of a Rambo fim... and what!?!?!)

So, the first post....

I suppose I better start off as I mean to go on.

Here's an Easter mixtape I've put together!

Mr Robinson Easter 2010 Mixtape by Mr. Robinson (LeeroyNoji)

The full tracklisting is available on the soundcloud page, and if you'd like to download it just click the little downwards facing arrow near the top of the audio waveform :)

Also, I've got some pretty cool gig's lined up in the not so distant future. Here are a couple of the highlights...

Friday 02nd April 2010 - Ka:pow @ flying circus Huddersfield 1-2am
Sunday 02nd May 2010 - Afterparty @ camel club Huddersfield W/ krafty Kuts & The Squatters
Friday 04th June 2010 - Bad Ass Beats @ Bar:122 W/ Jakwob

Looking forward to all 3 gig's and hope to see some familiar faces :)

It was also my birthday this weekend gone, and I can safely say I'm well on my way to being 30 (although I'm not quite there yet!).
Most of the time was spent being quite civilized, but as ever there were moments which got a little bit out of hand. Not in a bad way, just a few extended periods of lairy activity.
Friday night was spent keeping it reasonably clean, playing wii archery and trying to avoid seeing people knocking one out on chatroulette.
Had a great day Saturday. Ventured over to the royal armories in Leeds and then on for some food at TGI Fridays.
Funnily enough the armories was full of weapons! Who would have thought it! Presumably if there's another major war the home guard will be straight to the armories and arming themselves with muskets and 15th century samurai swords.
Check out this photo of the intense main central bit that reaches up 4 floors!

Then, as Saturday night commenced the tone was lowered considerably and resulted in the following taking place...

Needless to say that night I slept on the floor that night using a bean bag as a duvet and some polystyrene packaging as a pillow. After about 3 hours sleep and nursing a killer hangover I got up, rounded the troops, and went directly to alton towers.

I think my favourite part of alton towers was when kelvin met sonic the hedgehog, well, a man dressed as sonic. God knows what the poor chap in the costume was thinking when a grown man, over 6 feet tall came bounding over yelling "it's sonic!!!" at the top of his voice.

Here's a picture from a little later on, fortunately this sonic was a statue and didn't have a man inside. If you look closely the signs on the fence behind say 'please do not climb on sonic' ha.

Until next time.... x
